Join System One as a Senior UI/UX Experience Designer and help shape enterprise platform experiences from an onsite base in Pittsburgh. You will work closely with Product, Technology, and Engineering to drive design direction, influence end-to-end journeys, and collaborate across multiple onsite locations. This role emphasizes user insight, cross-functional teamwork, and ongoing usability validation to deliver scalable, accessible solutions.

Responsibilities

  • From the outset, focus on understanding users, use cases, and end-to-end journeys, partnering with Product and Technology to shape the overall experience.
  • Establish design direction, patterns, and usability considerations early in the process.
  • As delivery progresses, iteratively design and refine experiences based on feedback and insights.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering during the build to ensure feasibility and quality.
  • Validate solutions through feedback from users and stakeholders throughout the program.
  • Maintain consistency with enterprise design standards, accessibility requirements, and evolving platform needs.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design.
  • Strong proficiency with Figma (or equivalent) for wireframes, high fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes.
  • Experience designing for enterprise or platform-based products, including complex workflows and multi-user journeys.
  • Hands-on experience contributing to design systems to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Proven ability to collaborate closely with Product Owners and Engineering across discovery, design, and delivery.
  • Experience conducting or supporting user research and usability testing.
  • Familiarity with financial services or regulated industries.
  • Experience helping define UX standards, principles, or patterns for a new product organization.
  • Background designing reusable, component-based experiences for enterprise platforms.
  • Team player with a proactive mindset and strong communication.
