UI/UX Designer - Technolutions Slate

Responsibilities

• Lead the UX and visual design efforts from discovery through final implementation within the Slate environment.
• Perform research and requirements gathering to inform design decisions.
• Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.
• Craft a modern, intuitive Slate portal experience that aligns with brand standards.
• Create reusable, modular content components for use across multiple departments.
• Produce production-ready HTML/CSS solutions within the Slate platform.
• Ensure designs are responsive, mobile-friendly, and WCAG-compliant.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect feedback and iterate on designs.
• Deliver documented, production-ready assets and configurations for deployment.
• Support HTML email template redesign efforts as the project scope permits.

Requirements

• Demonstrated UI/UX design experience with a strong professional portfolio.
• Advanced proficiency in HTML5 and CSS.
• Experience designing within CRM, portal, or web application environments.
• Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar design tools.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design methodologies and usability best practices.
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, design systems, and component libraries.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design principles.
• Excellent visual design skills across typography, layout, and branding.
• Ability to work independently and manage deliverables within established timelines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

About the Project

In collaboration with the client’s design and marketing teams, you will lead the redesign of a graduate admissions portal inside Slate CRM. The effort focuses on delivering a modern, accessible, and visually engaging user experience, along with a scalable library of modular content components that can be customized across multiple academic programs. Optional scope includes redesigning HTML email templates within Slate's email delivery system.
