UI/UX Designer

Guidehouse seeks a UI/UX Designer to lead design for a next-generation Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) platform experience. This onsite role in Washington, DC focuses on UX strategy, design standards, and unified, role-aware workflows and dashboards, including AI-assisted user journeys.

Role Responsibilities

• Define platform-wide UX strategy and establish design standards for consistent, scalable experiences.
• Design the GMS RCM management console and unified operating experience for end users.
• Create experience profiles for different user personas and operational roles.
• Design dashboards, scorecards, KPI views, work queues, alerts, and workflow experiences across the platform.
• Design AI-assisted user journeys, including copilots, chat interfaces, recommendations, and approval workflows.
• Create workflow visualizations for claims, denials, AR, coding, billing, and client operations.
• Design human-in-the-loop review and approval experiences for AI-generated actions.
• Develop wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and design system assets to support delivery.
• Conduct persona mapping, journey mapping, and workflow analysis with business stakeholders.
• Design responsive experiences to support a consistent user experience across devices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support implementation fidelity and usability outcomes.
• Support usability testing and ongoing experience optimization.
• Establish design governance standards and accessibility requirements, including WCAG-aligned expectations.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3)+ years of overall work experience.
• Enterprise UI/UX design experience.
• Human-centered design methodologies.
• User journey mapping and service design experience.
• Dashboard and analytics experience design.
• Workflow-driven application design experience.
• AI assistant and conversational UX design experience.
• Information architecture and navigation design.
• Design systems and component libraries experience.
• Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or equivalent tools.
• Data visualization and KPI presentation experience.
• Personal development and role-based experience modeling.
• Usability testing and user research experience.
• Accessibility standards knowledge aligned to WCAG.
• Responsive web application design experience.
• Experience designing AI-enabled business applications and enterprise applications.
• Experience building complex workflow-oriented platforms.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating dashboard and operational application design.
• Experience working with product and engineering teams in Agile environments.
• Ability to translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences.
• Experience designing role-based experiences and permissions-aware applications.
• Understanding of modern UX patterns for analytics, workflow, and AI-enabled systems.

Compensation and Location

Location: Washington, DC (onsite)

Salary range: USD 98,000 - 163,000 per year

Travel and Clearance
