UI/UX Designer
Job Description
Ethos Group is hiring a hands-on UI/UX Designer for its Technology division Design Team, working onsite in Irving, TX to take product experiences from ambiguous requirements to shipped screens.
Responsibilities
- Design features across the product suite, covering early exploration and wireframes through high-fidelity mockups and developer-ready handoffs
- Apply strong interface craft to every screen, using typography, spacing, hierarchy, and visual consistency to deliver production-ready UI
- Run user research end to end: plan and moderate usability sessions, synthesize results, and convert findings into evidence-backed design decisions
- Structure problems before execution by mapping flows, defining information architecture, and pressure-testing requirements with product management
- Collaborate closely with product management to clarify requirements, shape scope, and contribute to product decisions throughout the process
- Provide developer-ready handoffs including clear specifications, documented states, annotated edge cases, and defined responsive behavior, and stay available during implementation to answer questions and review builds
- Support and evolve the design system by applying it consistently, proposing extensions, and documenting gaps so the system improves over time
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience designing digital products in a UI/UX or product design role
- Deep, working fluency in Figma, including components, variants, auto layout, variables, and prototyping
- Hands-on user research experience, including writing test scripts, moderating sessions, and translating findings into design changes
- Strong communication and collaboration across design, product, and engineering, including presenting rationale, responding to feedback, and keeping stakeholders aligned
- AI tools integrated into your workflow to accelerate research synthesis, explore variations, draft interface copy, or bridge design and code, with clear judgment about where AI helps vs. where it hinders
- Motion and interaction design skills, including loading states, transitions, and micro-interactions
