UI-UX Designer

True Helix is seeking a UI-UX Designer to join the team onsite in Delmont, PA. In this role you will craft intuitive interfaces and interactions to elevate user experience, collaborating closely with product owners and stakeholders to map workflows and translate the brand into the product interface.

Responsibilities

• Elevate the visual appeal and usability of software and related interactive interfaces
• Develop holistic concepts for the user experience within software products, ensuring interactions are intuitive
• Define the visual design for websites or products, covering layout, menus, drop-downs, color palettes, and typography
• Translate requirements into style guides, design systems, patterns, and polished interfaces
• Design UI elements such as input controls, navigation components, and informational panels
• Create storyboards to illustrate design concepts and communicate plans to clients and management
• Consider the human-computer interaction aspects within design and document them
• Test completed applications, websites, and software to assess usability and user experience

Requirements

• 3+ years of proven UI design experience
• Proficient with visual design tools, including Adobe Photoshop
• Strong collaborative abilities to create high performing interfaces
• Experience creating storyboards and site mappings
• Advanced problem solving and data optimization skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently
• Excellent communication skills to articulate ideas, designs, and suggestions
• Commitment to ongoing education and research into UI trends and current design strategy and technology
