UI/UX and Design Analyst
Job Description
Via Logic LLC is hiring a UI/UX and Design Analyst to support mission-critical systems in a remote, full-time W-2 role.
Responsibilities
- Plan and run design sprints, including end-user research, usability testing, and design reviews
- Analyze user data and translate insights into design decisions aligned with client objectives
- Apply specialized expertise to graphical user interface design, with focus on screen layouts and functionality for client-server applications
- Create intuitive, efficient, and accessible user experiences
- Conduct studies, testing, and evaluations of screen prototypes for functionality, ease of use, efficiency, and accuracy
- Iterate on designs based on feedback to refine and improve the user interface
- Design user experiences for new and existing web-based applications from concept through completion
- Develop workflows and experiences that are intuitive, effective, and accessible for seamless end-user interaction
- Communicate concepts using low- and high-fidelity mockups
- Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders and incorporate feedback into the final product
- Create short-term and long-term UI/UX visions to maintain consistency and coherence across the user experience
- Collaborate with developers and analysts to implement approved designs
- May mentor and supervise team members, providing guidance on UI/UX best practices and user research
Requirements
- U.S. Citizen
- Currently reside within the United States
- Have lived within the U.S. for at least 3 of the past 5 years
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a government Public Trust clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a UI/UX designer, with a strong portfolio covering web-based and client-server application design
- Experience conducting usability testing and user research
- Government sector experience, especially within DHS, is highly desirable
- Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar
- Strong UI/UX principles with ability to produce wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with DevSecOps environments
- Experience with accessibility standards and regulations, particularly for government projects
- Current Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain such clearance

How We Work
- Client-facing role with virtual collaboration and occasional customer interaction
- Active use of Slack, Teams, email, Monday.com, and other collaboration tools during standard business hours
- Availability for meetings and collaboration between 9AM–5PM EST is expected
- Cameras on during virtual meetings is part of the collaborative culture

Location: Houston, TX (remote) • Compensation: USD 90,000 - 110,000 per year • Employment: Full-time W-2
