Senior UI/UX Designer

Simpro is looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to help lift the design standard across the product organization. In this onsite role in Miami, FL, you will set and evolve how teams design and ship experiences by combining design systems ownership, UX governance, and research-led product direction.

As the Senior UX Designer, you will partner closely with product and engineering to shape cross-product features, validate concepts quickly, and mentor other designers. You will also be hands-on when it matters, taking work from wireframes to production-ready UI and into code when needed, while keeping pace with AI-accelerated development cycles.

What you’ll do

• Own and evolve Simpro’s design system and component library, setting the standards that product managers and engineers use when building UI themselves.
• Define UX guidelines, principles, and governance frameworks so design quality scales beyond the design team.
• Lead user research initiatives including regular usability testing, discovery interviews, and insight synthesis, then translate findings into product direction.
• Partner with product and engineering on complex, cross-product features, facilitating trade-off conversations and working toward aligned solutions while maintaining user advocacy.
• Prototype and validate new concepts quickly to match AI-accelerated development cycles.
• Coach and mentor designers on best practices and help evolve approaches in the AI age.
• Take concepts from wireframe through polished, production-ready design, and into code when needed.

What you bring

• 5+ years of UX/UI design experience, including meaningful time in B2B, B2C, or SaaS.
• A strong portfolio showing systems thinking, not only polished screens.
• Hands-on experience with AI design and prototyping tools such as v0, Cursor, Figma AI, Claude, or similar.
• Confidence running your own research, including recruiting, facilitation, and synthesis.
• Solid HTML, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript skills, with the ability to communicate with engineers and build when needed.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication.
