Senior UI/UX Designer
Job Description
In this Senior UI/UX Designer role, you will shape enterprise-grade digital experiences across web and mobile, guiding research, design, and development through an end-to-end lifecycle within Bright Vision Technologies’ in-house SOW program. The position is fully remote, offering a collaborative environment where design systems, accessibility standards, and brand integrity drive measurable user outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Create and continuously refine intuitive, responsive interfaces for enterprise web and mobile apps, aligning with design systems, accessibility standards, and brand guidelines.
- Develop user-centered designs through research, personas, journey maps, wireframes, information architecture, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to translate business needs into strong digital experiences.
- Build responsive, component-based front-end applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React (or equivalents like Angular or Vue), ensuring cross-browser compatibility, accessibility compliance, and top-tier performance on desktop and mobile.
- Design and implement reusable UI components, design systems, and front-end architecture to enable scalable development and consistent visuals across multiple enterprise applications.
- Contribute to product strategy, UX workshops, architecture reviews, and design discussions by evaluating usability trade-offs and aligning user-centered solutions with technical feasibility.
- Continuously assess and optimize UX through usability testing, accessibility audits, analytics reviews, performance improvements, and iterative refinements that boost customer engagement.
- Implement and maintain design systems, component libraries, style guides, interaction patterns, and documentation to promote consistency and efficient collaboration between designers and developers.
- Establish usability validation workflows, including heuristic evaluations, moderated usability testing, A/B testing, accessibility checks, prototype validation, and design reviews using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Hotjar, Google Analytics, and UserTesting.
- Support front-end build processes, design handoff workflows, version control, component documentation, and deployment collaboration via Git, Storybook, Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar platforms to enable reliable UI delivery.
- Identify usability issues, accessibility gaps, inconsistent design patterns, and technical constraints, driving continuous improvement based on research findings and design recommendations.
- Collaborate within Agile/Scrum delivery teams through sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, design reviews, stakeholder demonstrations, and retrospectives to sustain high-quality UX delivery.
- Maintain up-to-date design documentation—including design systems, UI specifications, interaction guidelines, accessibility reports, usability findings, developer handoff docs, and style guides—to keep knowledge shareable and products scalable.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HCI, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Media, or a closely related field.
- Five or more years of professional experience designing and delivering production-grade web or mobile applications with a strong focus on UX and UI.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design methodologies, information architecture, interaction design, accessibility standards, responsive design principles, and end-to-end product design processes.
- Advanced working knowledge of Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as React (Angular or Vue familiarity is a plus).
- Hands-on experience creating responsive UIs, interactive prototypes, reusable design systems, component libraries, and scalable front-end architectures.
- Proven experience developing front-end applications using React, with working familiarity in Angular or Vue considered a strong plus.
- Strong knowledge of responsive web design, CSS frameworks, browser compatibility, accessibility (WCAG), front-end optimization techniques, and UI performance best practices.
- Solid experience with Git-based workflows, Agile development methodologies, design collaboration tools, developer handoff processes, and release management practices.
- Hands-on experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs, cloud-hosted applications, authentication systems, and modern deployment environments.
- Strong analytical thinking, usability evaluation, debugging, communication, and stakeholder management skills, capable of solving complex UX challenges through research-driven design decisions.
