Senior Product Designers

Senior Product Designers at FIS Management Services, LLC lead end-to-end product design efforts using user-centered principles to create engaging, intuitive, and seamless product experiences. The role combines user research, prototyping, collaboration across teams, and the creation and scaling of design systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process by championing user-centered principles throughout product development.
• Conduct in-depth user research, develop detailed user personas, and incorporate user feedback to deliver engaging, intuitive, and seamless design solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate product vision into innovative, user-friendly design strategies aligned with business goals.
• Create interactive prototypes and wireframes to visualize and validate design concepts in partnership with development teams.
• Mentor and guide a team of designers while supporting a creative and inclusive design culture.
• Lead design reviews and provide constructive feedback to help ensure high-quality deliverables that address user needs.
• Create, maintain, and scale design systems to support consistent, reusable, and cohesive design elements across products and future initiatives.
• Communicate design decisions and rationale effectively to internal stakeholders and development teams to support shared alignment on design objectives.
• Adapt and iterate designs based on feedback, usability testing outcomes, and changing project needs.
• Identify and act on opportunities to improve design workflows and processes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field.
• Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation, including using Figma to produce designs and manage design systems.
• Experience using online whiteboarding and collaboration tools such as FigJam and Miro for collaborative design workshops.
• Experience using Jira as part of workflow tracking in the software development lifecycle.
• Experience creating, planning, and executing moderated and unmoderated user research studies using online tools such as UserTesting.com and User Interviews.
• Experience showcasing product design, including the design process, problem-solving skills, and impact on end users, or an advanced degree in design.
• Experience designing software applications in a financial industry context.
• Working knowledge of industry-standard design tools and UX/UI principles.
• Experience designing devices, including web and mobile-native applications, with the ability to create designs using a design system.
• Alternative qualification: FIS may accept a Master’s degree in the listed fields plus one (1) year of experience with the skills listed above.
