Senior Product Designer

Circuit AI is building a category-defining platform that helps manufacturers sell, support, and innovate. This is an Austin, TX onsite position where you can help shape intuitive, high-impact experiences across web and mobile. You will lead end-to-end product design, evolve the design system, and design for trust in AI-driven decisions so users can understand, verify, and act on agent recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Own design execution for roadmap initiatives, from problem framing through shipped product, in partnership with product.
• Translate complex workflows and data into intuitive, elegant user experiences.
• Design for trust in AI-driven decisions, including how users understand, verify, and act on agent recommendations on desktop and in the field.
• Lead discovery efforts by synthesizing insights from users, data, and stakeholders.
• Create high-fidelity designs and prototypes that are visually polished and functionally robust.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and PM to define product direction and ensure design feasibility.
• Conduct and lead user research, usability testing, and iterative validation.
• Drive the evolution of Circuit’s design system and interaction patterns.
• Advocate for inclusive, accessible design in all product decisions.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience designing digital products in cross-functional environments.
• A strong portfolio of shipped work demonstrating elegant problem-solving across platforms.
• Proven ability to drive ambiguous projects from discovery to delivery.
• Experience working as an embedded designer partnered with product and engineering on a fast-moving technical roadmap.
• Deep expertise with Figma (components, prototyping, versioning) and other design tools.
• Experience designing for both web and mobile, with comfort designing for users in the field (interrupted, low-attention, mobile-first contexts).
• Fluency in design systems, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
• Strong product thinking and a systems-level design mindset.
• Comfort prototyping in code with AI-assisted tools, able to take a design from Figma to a working prototype engineers can react to, with enough front-end fluency to understand feasibility.
• Comfort getting close to unfamiliar, technical domains, preferring to sit with a field technician rather than guess.
• Relentlessly curious and detail-oriented, with clear communication and thoughtful collaboration.
• Confident giving and receiving candid, constructive feedback.
• Passion for great design, strong teams, and meaningful impact.
