Senior Product Designer
Job Description
Onsite in New York, NY, the Senior Product Designer leads the full design lifecycle for T-Mobile Advertising Solutions' enterprise DOOH advertising marketplace. The role shapes the design vision, identifies user needs, maps workflows, and translates insights into intuitive product experiences across the lifecycle. The position offers a yearly salary ranging from USD 97,300 to 175,500 and requires at least 3 years of related experience along with an advanced degree.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end design lifecycle from discovery to high fidelity prototypes and design guidelines, communicating UX concepts with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate across product and engineering teams to refine requirements, balancing customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research independently, regularly engaging with internal and external users to surface pain points and validate solutions.
- Contribute to and evolve the design system, principles, guidelines, and pattern libraries to maintain consistency across the T-Ads product ecosystem.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with five years of related experience, or an advanced degree with three years of related experience.
- Acceptable fields of study include UX, HCI, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- 4 to 7 years of related work experience; a portfolio or work samples is required for consideration.
- End-to-end User Experience Design experience, including discovery, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate and defend design decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and balance multiple concurrent design workstreams against shifting deadlines.
- Proven ability to plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research independently.
- Experience contributing to and maintaining design systems and pattern libraries, with working knowledge of common UI frameworks and front-end constraints.
