- Partner with product management, engineering, and clinical colleagues to define problems, prototype ideas, test solutions, and refine outcomes
- Sketch, wireframe, and prototype from low to high fidelity in Figma, moving quickly from concept to something testable
- Use AI tools (Claude) to accelerate exploration and produce working prototypes, then test with clinicians and refine using your judgment
- Participate in user research and usability sessions, turning what you learn into concrete design changes
- Design information architecture, interface layout, and interaction patterns for dense desktop workflows
- Deliver clean handoffs to engineering with organized, annotated, well-documented designs
- Perform design QA on shipped work to confirm it matches the original intent
- Contribute components and documentation to Sirona’s in-house design system
- Share and receive feedback through design critiques, clearly communicating the rationale behind decisions

- Comfort with AI tools, such as Claude, to help build prototypes
- Collaboration skills, including asking for input early and incorporating feedback thoughtfully
- Ability to explain design rationale in conversation and in writing
