Product Designer

Gallatin is seeking a Product Designer to shape intuitive, high-impact user experiences for military logistics decision making. In this onsite role in El Segundo, CA, you will partner with senior designers and engineers to create wireframes, prototypes, and design system components, while validating outcomes through research and testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior designers to design user interfaces and experiences aligned to the needs of military logistics operations
• Create wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes using industry-standard design tools
• Plan and conduct user research and testing with military stakeholders to validate design decisions
• Help develop visual design systems that support consistency across brand and product surfaces
• Coordinate with engineering teams to support accurate and effective implementation of designs
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to product strategy discussions
• Document design decisions and maintain design specifications

Required Qualifications

• US Citizenship (required for defense-related projects)
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
• 1-2 years of product design experience, preferably in a startup environment
• Proficiency with design tools including Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, plus modern design and prototyping tools
• A strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design capabilities
• Excellent visual design skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate design decisions
• Willingness to travel occasionally for user research and client meetings

Compensation, Location, and Experience

• Location: El Segundo, CA (onsite)
• Salary range: USD 92,000 - 142,000 per year
• Minimum experience: 1 year
