Product Designer

Trimble is hiring a Product Designer to help shape the product experience across an AI-driven platform supporting the Document Crunch contract intelligence product. This onsite role in Alpharetta, GA brings together design craft and applied AI to improve how teams work within real-world construction workflows.

What you will do

• Own key design deliverables across the product, from concept to launch, covering everything from first-time experience flows to approaches for complex workflows.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Product, to integrate strong UX into the core platform through clear and frequent communication.
• Lead user discovery and design validation with stakeholders, turning complex workflows into intuitive experiences that address real challenges.
• Improve the Document Crunch design system and related best practices to support high-quality, sustainable design outcomes.
• Apply modern AI to practical industry problems by distilling interaction patterns and techniques as new ways of working emerge.

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience designing applications, with a strong focus on B2B products.
• A track record of leading design initiatives across multiple products or platforms, supported by a portfolio showing deep expertise in solving complex UX challenges.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a “visionary pragmatist” approach, balancing great UX, style, and pragmatic outcomes.
• Expert proficiency with industry-standard design and prototyping tools, including Figma and AdobeXD.
• Solid knowledge of UX design processes and methodologies, paired with an adaptive mindset open to new approaches.
• Strong communication skills, including experience collaborating with engineers, product management, and leadership on strategy and approach.
• Ideal background includes experience with AI tools and AI-driven user experiences.

Bonus points

• Experience designing for construction technology, document processing, or enterprise software.
• Deep familiarity with AI-driven product experiences and emerging interaction patterns.
• Previous involvement in building or scaling a design system from the ground up.

Compensation

• Hiring range: USD 115,600 - 158,900 per year
