Product Designer
Job Description
Pramaana Labs is looking for a hands-on Product Designer to translate AI verification technology into clear, useful, and thoughtfully crafted experiences. The work spans customer, developer, internal, and shared systems, moving from discovery to launch with strong interaction, visual design, and information architecture.
This role combines product thinking with deep craft: shaping how people understand knowledge, rules, dependencies, and verification outcomes, while also building shared foundations that help teams move faster and ship with consistency.
What you’ll do
- Own design end-to-end, taking concepts through discovery, solution framing, flows and prototypes, detailed design, and post-launch improvement.
- Frame problems and define requirements, contributing to what should be built rather than only executing from predefined specs.
- Design across products and audiences, including customers, developers, domain experts, and internal teams.
- Create experiences that help users work with knowledge, rules, dependencies, and verification results so complex systems become understandable.
- Support evidence inspection by designing ways for users to distinguish verified information, assumed information, and what remains unresolved.
- Build shared, scalable foundations such as onboarding, identity, workspaces, permissions, API access, and usage reporting.
- Design for new products, user types, and organizational needs while avoiding unnecessary complexity.
- Help evolve the design system by partnering with engineering to establish reusable components, interaction patterns, and accessibility standards.
- Use research and experimentation to guide decisions by talking to users, observing workflows, testing prototypes, and combining qualitative feedback with product data.
- Stay close to delivery by collaborating through implementation, including interaction details, copy, loading states, errors, and edge cases.
- Identify what needs to change and evaluate whether improvements actually help.
- Contribute to a lightweight culture of design reviews and constructive feedback.
What you bring
- A portfolio of shipped work showing strong product thinking and craft.
- Experience taking loosely defined problems from early concept to usable products.
- Strong interaction design, visual design, and information architecture skills.
- The ability to think across systems.
- Technical curiosity and a hands-on approach.
- Comfortable with Figma and interactive prototyping, and open to new tools that help you explore and build.
- Good judgment about speed, scope, and quality.
- Clear communication and a collaborative working style.
Bonus areas (especially strong candidates)
- Experience as an early designer at a startup, shaping product direction, design practices, and a consistent visual language.
- Experience designing developer tools, AI products, enterprise software, or internal platforms with complex, data-intensive workflows.
- Experience building design systems used across multiple products, including close collaboration on implementation in code.
- Ability to build functional prototypes using AI-assisted development tools.
- Experience with knowledge editors, graph visualizations, evaluation tools, or audit workflows, especially where users must understand sources, changes, evidence, and limitations.
