AI Product Designer

Augusto Digital offers a fully remote contract role with the chance to work on new AI projects across multiple clients. You will join a small team where your designs are closely connected to real outcomes, and you will build AI product experiences from early concepts through usable prototypes.

What you’ll do

As a senior product designer, you’ll partner with clients and product owners to understand goals, target users, and core problems. You will translate business needs into user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes, then iterate based on feedback from research and testing.

• Meet with clients and product owners to learn their goals, users, and problems
• Convert requirements into user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
• Use AI design tools, such as Claude Design, alongside Figma, to prototype quickly
• Store, share, and manage design files using Git
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure what ships matches the design intent
• Run user research and usability tests, then apply learnings to improve UX
• Design AI feature experiences including chat interfaces, agents, and automated workflows
• Present designs to clients and explain decisions clearly
• Help build and maintain design standards and reusable components

What you bring

• 5+ years of UX design or product design experience
• A portfolio showing your process, not only final screens
• Strong Figma skills
• Experience with AI design and prototyping tools, for example Claude Design
• Working knowledge of Git including commit, branch, and pull request
• Solid grounding in UX principles, user research, and usability testing
• Experience working directly with clients or product owners
• Clear written and spoken communication
• Ability to work remotely and manage your own time

• Experience designing AI products, chat interfaces, or agent workflows
• Basic HTML or CSS and front-end knowledge
• Experience at a consulting company or agency
• Experience building or maintaining design systems

This is a contract position with a contract-to-hire pathway. You’ll work with developers and clients to design, test, and refine AI feature UX.
