Product Designer

Design the core product experience for AI interactive entertainment across web and mobile at janitorAI.

Responsibilities

• Design the core experience across web and mobile, including how people discover characters, chat, create, and use other key flows
• Translate complex AI-enabled features into clear, understandable interactions without relying on explanations
• Strengthen consistency in Janitor’s visual language, with attention to typography, layout, motion, and the day-to-day details users interact with
• Collaborate directly with engineers to ensure designs are built correctly and the shipped experience feels right
• Use the product, listen to users, and revisit design decisions based on what you learn

Requirements

• Experience designing consumer products, with a focus on mobile apps and mobile web
• Interest in owning the look and feel of a product used by millions every day
• Enjoyment of working quickly as part of a small team
• Strong preference for candidates able to work in-person in the San Francisco office; remote candidates will be considered

Compensation

• USD 100,000 - 200,000 per year

Location: San Francisco, CA (hybrid)
