Product Designer

Qualitate is building AI-supported workflows that help organizations conduct research, explore evidence, and make decisions with confidence. As a Product Designer based in New York, NY (onsite), you’ll partner with product, engineering, and design to prototype, launch, and iterate on enterprise workflows that stay clear, trustworthy, and manageable as complexity grows.

What you’ll do

• Translate research questions into usable workflows teams can rely on.
• Design AI workflows that users can understand and navigate.
• Prototype quickly to learn what works and refine direction early.
• Reduce complexity so organizations can adopt and manage the system effectively.
• Contribute to decisions on what to build.
• Strengthen and evolve the design system.
• Ensure customer evidence informs the product roadmap.

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience shipping commercial products.
• Strong interaction and visual craft.
• Experience working with complex software.
• Ability to exercise independent product judgment.
• Practical experience with prototyping.
• A habit of learning from users.
• Clear communication and collaboration across teams.
• High standards for craft, strong product judgment, and an entrepreneurial, collaborative mindset.

• You’ve designed AI-powered experiences where users gain meaningful control and results are understandable and trustworthy, including beyond simple chat interfaces.
• You’ve helped a growing team evolve its design system or design practices to enable consistent, high-quality delivery.
• You use research, customer feedback, and product analytics to challenge assumptions and iterate after launch.
• You can move comfortably between design and code; frontend development experience is a plus, and some designers contribute production code.

Compensation and location

• Location: New York, NY (onsite)
• Salary: USD 150,000 - 180,000 per year
• Employment: Full-time, in-person in New York City
