Product Designer

Triumph is seeking a Product Designer to join Rips, its collectibles trading card app, in San Francisco. You will collaborate with the Product Manager to shape both mobile and web experiences, contribute to the existing design system, and lay the groundwork for a web version and future cross‑platform growth. This onsite role offers a competitive annual compensation of USD 140,000 – 210,000.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end product design for Rips, covering user research, flows, wireframes, prototypes, high‑fidelity UI, and production‑ready assets.
• Advance a mature design system to keep Rips cohesive while enabling ongoing evolution.
• Craft interaction patterns that feel native to iOS and scale effectively to web and Android as the product expands.
• Design clear, intuitive consumer interfaces, with emphasis on game‑like mechanics and collectibles.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to validate ideas quickly and move features from concept to live in days rather than weeks.
• Contribute to in‑product brand moments through illustration, motion, and micro‑copy that boost delight and clarity.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of product design experience on consumer‑facing iOS apps; bonus if you have worked on gaming, real‑money, or other interactive entertainment apps.
• Proficiency designing for the iOS/Apple ecosystem with interest in cross‑platform work as the product expands to Android and web.
• Proven ability to design for consumer engagement (game loops, progression, rewards) and translate complex concepts into intuitive user flows.
• A passion for crafting delightful experiences using motion, illustration, animations, and polished interaction design.
• Tenacity, pragmatism, and resourcefulness, valuing agency and prioritizing high‑impact work based on data and user feedback.
