Job Description
Product Designer on the Amazon Music Core Experiences Design team shaping voice-first and multimodal interactions for Alexa-enabled devices, with a focus on natural conversational UX and visual design; salary range USD 90,300 to 158,100 per year.
Responsibilities
- Craft voice interactions and TTS response flows that feel clear, natural, and contextually appropriate for Amazon Music customers.
- Develop conversational wireframes, sample dialog scripts, response maps, and flow diagrams to communicate design intent.
- Iterate on single-turn and multi-turn dialogue patterns, forecasting how users will interpret and respond to spoken prompts.
- Collaborate with design, product, engineering, and research teams to weave in user feedback, technical constraints, and usability findings.
- Use existing templates and the design system to deliver high-fidelity mockups for multimodal voice plus screen experiences.
- Work with cross-functional partners to ensure voice responses align with broader platform patterns.
- Present design concepts to partners and stakeholders, incorporating review feedback and direction.
- Contribute to language model training data and sample dialog interactions under guidance from senior designers.
Requirements
- 2+ years of design experience.
- An online portfolio with accessible work samples.
- Proficiency with Figma and other prototyping tools.
- 1+ years of experience in conversation design or multimodal design.
