Job Description

TRIAEM, LLC is looking for an Expert UI/UX Designer to help shape high-impact digital products from early discovery through prototyping, testing, and implementation support, finishing with polished final UI refinement. This role focuses on converting complex requirements into intuitive, engaging user experiences while partnering closely with engineers and stakeholders to strengthen design system quality.

What you’ll do

  • Conduct in-depth user research and usability testing.
  • Analyze user needs and translate findings into personas and design requirements.
  • Create user flows, storyboards, wireframes, and sitemaps.
  • Produce high-fidelity mockups including user interfaces, navigation menus, widgets, and other design components.
  • Build interactive prototypes to support testing and iterative improvement.
  • Apply user feedback to continuously refine and improve designs.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Work directly with engineering teams to support design feasibility and smooth implementation.
  • Contribute to the development and ongoing maintenance of design systems.
  • Perform final UI reviews to ensure design quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Partner with communications professionals to maintain consistency in design and presentation.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, Psychology, Computer Science, or a related field, or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a bachelor’s.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated UI/UX design experience covering the end-to-end design process.
  • Proven expertise in user research methodologies, wireframing, user flows, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototyping.
  • High proficiency with industry-standard tools including Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital products.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.

Preferred qualifications

  • Master’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Specialized experience aligned to NGA and/or other Intelligence Community agency missions and communications policies.
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence principles and implications for UI/UX.
  • Knowledge of PEO-GG systems.
