E-Commerce Product Designer

Zulay Kitchen is seeking a creative, hands-on Product Designer to lead kitchen, coffee, and household product design from early concept through development and production. This role is on-site in Clearwater, FL and requires close collaboration across sourcing, manufacturing, marketing, and creative teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new consumer products from concept through production.
• Create sketches, 3D models, renderings, prototypes, and product specifications.
• Research materials, manufacturing processes, and emerging product trends to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to refine designs and address production issues.
• Evaluate and balance functionality, aesthetics, cost, quality, and manufacturability.
• Coordinate with Marketing and Packaging teams to support cohesive product launches.
• Manage multiple product concepts and development projects concurrently.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Portfolio demonstrating physical consumer product work.
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing, ergonomics, and the product development process.
• Excellent sketching, visualization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to take a product from idea to a production-ready design.
• Highly creative and detail-oriented, with strong organization and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with kitchenware, cookware, coffee products, appliances, or housewares.
• Experience working with overseas manufacturers.
• Experience with manufacturing and prototyping methods including 3D printing, prototyping, injection molding, die casting, or other related processes.
• Experience designing products for Amazon or other high-volume e-commerce brands.
