Art Director

Experis is seeking an Art Director to join its Creative/Brand team in New York, NY on an onsite basis. In this role, you will help shape multi-channel campaigns from concept to production, guiding the visual and narrative direction for brand video and campaign content.

With a focus on cohesive storytelling and cross-functional alignment, you will lead the process of turning marketing goals into clear concepts, and translate those ideas into storyboards and animatics that support efficient production workflows across teams.

What you’ll do

• Set the overall artistic vision, tone, and visual language for brand campaigns and video content.
• Convert marketing goals into conceptual narratives that connect with target audiences.
• Develop clear, dynamic, sequential storyboards and animatics to map video pacing, framing, and cinematic flow prior to production.
• Collaborate with marketers, designers, and external production teams to maintain a unified brand voice across channels.
• Direct and design key visual assets, including mood boards, style frames, and campaign layouts, and guide video production workflows.

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience as an Art Director, Concept Artist, or Creative Lead within an agency or in-house brand team.
• A portfolio showing advanced visual storytelling skills, including translating scripts and ideas into actionable storyboard frames.
• Expertise with industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, plus experience using sketching and storyboarding software.
• Strong presentation and leadership capabilities, including the ability to pitch concepts effectively to stakeholders and clients.
• Proficiency with video editing and motion design/post-production pipelines, including hands-on experience with Premiere and After Effects; understanding CG production fundamentals is a plus.
