Art Director

Miami Jewish Health is hiring an Art Director, Digital Storytelling onsite in Miami, FL to lead hands-on creative direction for digital stories across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital storytelling end-to-end, from concept and story identification through creative direction, production, editing, and final delivery
• Create, own, and continuously expand a library of original digital stories featuring people, programs, services, and impact
• Identify compelling stories involving seniors, participants, residents, families, caregivers, employees, and community partners
• Produce multimedia content, including video, photography, interviews, testimonials, social media content, and other visual narratives
• Direct and execute photo and video shoots, including interviewing, shooting, editing, and post-production
• Develop content optimized for social media, websites, email, digital advertising, presentations, and other communication channels
• Provide creative direction and hands-on execution for marketing campaigns and initiatives while maintaining brand consistency
• Offer creative guidance to internal and external resources to ensure quality and alignment
• Evolve and uphold the organization’s brand and visual standards across platforms
• Lead organization and maintenance of digital assets, including video, photography, graphics, and completed content
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify storytelling opportunities aligned with organizational and marketing priorities
• Manage multiple creative projects and production timelines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience creating digital stories from concept through final production
• Significant hands-on experience with photography, videography, and video editing
• Experience developing digital and social content across multiple platforms
• Healthcare, senior living, aging services, or mission-driven organization experience preferred
• Strong portfolio or reel demonstrating digital storytelling, video, photography, art direction, and visual design
• Exceptional visual storytelling skills, including the ability to identify and shape compelling stories
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and/or After Effects
• Strong video production, editing, photography, and post-production skills
• Ability to interview and work comfortably with seniors, families, caregivers, and employees to capture authentic stories
• Strong understanding of digital and social media content and ability to adapt creative for different audiences and platforms
• Strong knowledge of branding, typography, composition, and design
• Strong organizational and project-management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate across departments
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• 7+ years of experience
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, digital media, film/video production, marketing, commu (truncated as provided)
