Art Director

Experis is seeking an Art Director to support its creative department and partner with cross-functional teams to bring campaigns to life from first concept to final production. This hybrid role in Abbott Park, IL focuses on building strong visual storytelling across digital, print, environmental graphics, and branded spaces.

In this position, you will develop creative concepts and design solutions end-to-end, ensuring each output reflects the brand while also leaving room for thoughtful evolution. You will also help translate business goals into engaging visual narratives that strengthen audience engagement and brand perception.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts and design solutions from initial idea through final production execution.
• Create compelling visual communications across projects such as employee communication campaigns, consumer-facing digital campaigns, environmental graphics, and branded spaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into engaging visual stories that improve audience engagement and brand perception.
• Ensure work aligns with established brand standards, while identifying opportunities to evolve and elevate creative expression.
• Design data visualizations and infographics, and support strategic partnerships and sponsorship activations.

Requirements

• Proven ability to take conceptual ideas from strategy and design through final production-ready execution.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including advanced skills in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Strong experience working within and extending complex brand identity systems.
• Exceptional typography and layout skills, with a deep understanding of hierarchy, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Outstanding eye for imagery, color, and design aesthetics across print, digital, environmental, and experiential applications.

Compensation: USD 55 per hourly.
