Art Director

Calcium+Company is seeking an Art Director in Philadelphia, PA (onsite) to help translate brand strategy into clear, engaging creative. This intermediate role blends concept development, collaboration with client-facing partners, and hands-on ownership of projects, with a team culture built on commitment, integrity, and respect.

What you’ll do

• Develop strategically driven concepts, working effectively with a copy partner or in group settings
• Review concepts and copy against the creative brief to ensure strategic soundness
• Incorporate internal and client revisions while maintaining impact across art and copy
• Build strong working relationships with account, project management, and the creative team
• Make proactive recommendations relevant to ongoing client work
• Represent agency values internally and at industry functions
• Begin collaborating with outside vendors and internal services
• Own projects end-to-end and help ensure work comes in on time and on budget
• Interpret strategic objectives and create well-designed, engaging tactics that deliver on strategy
• Collaborate on creative briefs and timelines

What you bring

• 2+ years of industry and/or agency experience
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to work with a partner
• A team player mindset and willingness to collaborate
• Comfort working in Adobe Suite
• Experience using Microsoft Suite tools, including PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
• A track record of going above and beyond, with flexibility for the team, agency, and the work
