Full time Curriculum Design Design K-12

Turnaround: Teacher - Vocational Tech [Graphic Design and Visual Communication], Grades 9-12 (SY26-27), Boston Public Schools, onsite in Boston, MA.

Deliver a vocational technical course aligned to state curriculum frameworks for graphics design and visual communication, ensuring a safe learning environment.
Align instructional content with the school's curriculum map to develop equitable student outcomes in vocational skills.
Earn and/or maintain all required licensure.

Education: Associate’s degree or higher related to the subject matter and skills to be taught.
Experience: Four years of full-time employment experience directly related to the field.
Eligibility to earn a Massachusetts Vocational Tech Teaching License in the 9-12 subject by passing the subject-specific written and performance exams and one MTEL literacy skill.
Ability to obtain Massachusetts Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) Endorsement.
Ability to meet Boston Public Schools Standards of Effective Teaching.
Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment.

Experience teaching in urban schools and/or industry settings.
OSHA-10 certification or willingness to earn it.
Industry-recognized credentials aligned with the curriculum and ability to train students to earn those credentials.
Fluency in one of Boston Public Schools' official languages (Spanish, Creole variants, Chinese, Vietnamese, Portuguese, Somali) is valued.
Core content certification in the subject area plus either Moderate Disabilities or English as a Second Language at the appropriate grade level(s).
