Pinecrest Academy Cadence seeks a full-time Middle School Art and Graphic Design Teacher for an onsite role in Henderson, NV.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement the Nevada Academic Content Standards, with documented evidence
• Support and collaborate effectively with English language learners

Requirements

• Valid Nevada teaching license
• Nevada K-12 Art Teaching License
• Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal history background check and fingerprinting
• Experience teaching Art and Graphic Design
• Classroom experience
• Understanding and implementation of the Nevada Academic Content Standards, with documented evidence
• Experience working with English language learners
• Experience demonstrating significant positive outcomes as a classroom leader
• Strong commitment to improving academic outcomes for all students
• Experience working with special student populations, including students with developmental disabilities and GATE students
• Proficiency in communication (oral and written) with parents, students, colleagues, and other stakeholders
• Demonstrated proficiency in technology integration
• Familiarity with Infinite Campus
• Experience with educational technology platforms such as Google Drive, Edmodo, Seesaw, etc.
• Ability to maintain high-quality, positive classroom management
• Models high standards of integrity and inspires trust
• Team player who inspires others by example
