Job Description

The Geo Tech Web Designer role is based in Louisville, Kentucky, supporting Jefferson Community & Technical College Southwest Campus by building and maintaining the Geospatial Technology Consortium of Community Colleges website. This position is fully grant funded and offers a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain websites to publish curriculum materials, provide data resources, and host a repository of presentations.
Create and manage content for digital portfolios.
Apply established concepts, policies, processes, and standards to the development of web resources.
Assist in the strategic planning of KCTCS's integrated online resources.
Advise, train, and guide content contributors; identify training needs and opportunities.
Troubleshoot issues and propose solutions aligned with the job goals.
Establish and maintain the GTC3 website to host curated content, promotional materials, and an events calendar.
Create and manage a platform for Honor Society members to access resources and connect with peers, mentors, and professionals.
Maintain tools such as resume-building resources and an industry contact directory for Honor Society members' use.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
