Geo Tech Web Designer
Job Description
The Geo Tech Web Designer role is based in Louisville, Kentucky, supporting Jefferson Community & Technical College Southwest Campus by building and maintaining the Geospatial Technology Consortium of Community Colleges website. This position is fully grant funded and offers a hybrid work arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain websites to publish curriculum materials, provide data resources, and host a repository of presentations.
- Create and manage content for digital portfolios.
- Apply established concepts, policies, processes, and standards to the development of web resources.
- Assist in the strategic planning of KCTCS's integrated online resources.
- Advise, train, and guide content contributors; identify training needs and opportunities.
- Troubleshoot issues and propose solutions aligned with the job goals.
- Establish and maintain the GTC3 website to host curated content, promotional materials, and an events calendar.
- Create and manage a platform for Honor Society members to access resources and connect with peers, mentors, and professionals.
- Maintain tools such as resume-building resources and an industry contact directory for Honor Society members' use.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
