Senior Art Director / Design

Stewart and Associates is building its branding and marketing team and is looking for a highly creative, concept-driven Senior Art Director / Design to own the creative process across integrated marketing work. This onsite role in Louisville, KY focuses on shaping the end-to-end creative solution, turning strategic inputs into clear proposals, client-ready presentations, and successful activation.

In this position, you will guide development from early brainstorm through final presentation and into activation, working closely with clients and internal partners. Reporting to a Creative Director, you will collaborate with strategy, media, account service, and the broader creative team to deliver thoughtful, well-articulated creative work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of comprehensive creative presentations.
• Synthesize a client brief and develop creative solutions based on strategic inputs.
• Work under the direction of a Creative Director while collaborating with strategy, media, account service, and creative team members.
• Own the creative solution from brainstorm through client presentation and activation.
• Partner with clients and teammates to understand project requirements, articulate proposals, and deliver accordingly.

Requirements

• Demonstrable design skills with an updated online portfolio (required).
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Expert Adobe skills (Adobe technologies/tools).
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with teammates.
• Motivation to contribute to a high-performing, productive team.
• Desire to grow professionally.
• Organization, responsibility, and the ability to self-manage tasks and schedules.
• A related undergraduate degree.

Nice to Have

• Experience with 3D, video and/or animation.
• UI/UX design experience.
• Motion design experience.
• Storyboarding experience.
• Ability to sketch or illustrate.
