Web Designer

Revize Software Systems is seeking a Web Designer to join its Troy, MI office. The position focuses on strong web and graphic design capabilities, creative execution, and an interest in ongoing improvements in web design and development practices.

Role Focus

This role supports web visual planning and design creation through both wire framing and graphical design. You will also be responsible for aligning project visuals to different design styles so deliverables can match individual client needs.

Responsibilities

• Work across wire framing and graphical design.
• Adapt project visuals to multiple design styles to fit specific client needs.
• Apply strong problem-solving and research skills, including competitive assessments and photo and asset research.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to take ownership of projects from start through completion.

Requirements

• Experience as a graphic artist with strong design skills, including 3+ years of website design experience.
• Working knowledge of CSS3 and HTML5 is a plus.
• Extensive web site design experience.
• HTML 5 and mobile plus user interface design knowledge/experience are considered a plus.
• A solid understanding of contemporary web trends and techniques.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong time management, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability and desire to collaborate in a creative environment.
• Master understanding of color, space, and typography.
• Strong problem-solving and research skills, including competitive assessments and photo and asset research.
• Self-motivation with the ability to take charge of projects and see them through.
• Must have a design portfolio.
