User Interface Designer
Job Description
In this onsite role in Seattle, WA, you will shape engineer-built products into polished, user-friendly interfaces. As a User Interface Designer at SARJ, you will translate product intent into clear layouts and usable interaction patterns through wireframes, mockups, and front-end implementation.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with engineers to take products and present them as visually strong, user-friendly experiences.
- Turn your design concepts into mockups, wireframes, and front-end code.
What You Bring
- Experience designing web apps.
- Ability to operate as a creative force throughout the design process.
- A strong passion for typography and style.
- Understanding of the mechanics behind A/B testing and user testing.
- Comfort with a data-informed versus data-driven design philosophy.
- Skill in writing your own front-end code, including CSS, HTML, and possibly JavaScript.
- Knowledge of web standards that continues to evolve.
- The ability to share a portfolio of your work.
