Job Description

Elevate HR, based in New York, NY, is seeking a User Interface Designer to concentrate on user research, interface design, and usability testing for enterprise integration applications. This role collaborates closely with product, development, and stakeholders to translate requirements into intuitive designs that streamline complex workflows.

Compensation

USD 115,000 - 148,000 per year

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive user research to understand the needs, behaviors, and pain points of enterprise users interacting with integration platforms.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define user requirements and translate them into intuitive, visually compelling interface designs.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups in Figma to communicate concepts and iterate based on user feedback.
  • Deepen understanding of complex enterprise workflows related to integration, designing UIs that optimize these processes while prioritizing usability and accessibility.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design for enterprise software to continually enhance the platform experience.
  • Partner with development teams to ensure smooth implementation of design solutions, offering guidance throughout the build lifecycle.
  • Conduct usability testing and collect user feedback to validate decisions and drive iterative UI improvements.

Requirements

  • Strong grounding in user-centered design principles and methodologies, with experience conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, thriving in cross-functional environments.
  • Experience designing for complex workflows and data-heavy enterprise applications.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of UI/UX design experience, with a focus on enterprise business applications.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Balsamiq, or similar.
  • A portfolio showcasing UI/UX work, particularly for enterprise applications, is required.
  • Residence in or within easy daily commuting distance from Manhattan, NY.
  • Authorization to work in the United States now and in the future.
