UI/UX Developer

AEFIS is looking for a UI/UX Developer to help shape a SaaS product experience through a polished user interface and a consistent, highly usable user journey. This remote role focuses on translating product requirements into frontend features, producing high-quality code, and working closely with back-end developers as the team moves through the SDLC.

You will be responsible for building usable UI with strong attention to design elements and performance, while also supporting testing, documentation, and troubleshooting efforts alongside the rest of the engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Develop a great user interface based on product requirements
• Create high-quality, high-performance source code
• Ensure usability, strong use of design elements, and consistency in the user experience
• Work within deadlines to deliver successful end results
• Collaborate with back-end developers and other IT professionals to complete requirements
• Maintain and improve existing code as necessary
• Participate in SDLC processes as part of the team
• Complete unit testing of implementations and write unit tests as necessary
• Support engineers with troubleshooting and debugging
• Create necessary technical documentation

Requirements

• Experience working as a UI developer using the React web framework
• Solid experience designing and building highly usable UI
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/ES6
• Experience with additional programming languages is a plus
• Bachelor's Degree or Higher
• Ability to work well in a team environment and meet deadlines
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn new technologies while implementing functional requirements
