Job Description

Corporate Tools is seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to help translate product ideas into polished, functional web experiences. This role is primarily remote, with optional in-office time available for team members near Post Falls, ID, Spokane, WA, Austin, TX, or Salt Lake City, UT.

Role Overview

As a UI/UX Designer at Corporate Tools, you will work at the intersection of design and code. You will collaborate with full-stack teams to bridge the gap between design mock-ups and working interfaces, ensuring usability, consistency, and practical implementation.

This position is a traditional full-time employee role with a standard schedule of 40 hours per week. Projects may range from full application refreshes to focused updates across larger product suites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with full-stack teams to develop reusable UI components and design patterns for adoption across product suites
  • Work daily with design language to maintain UI consistency
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design concepts
  • Act as the connection point between full-stack development and the design team
  • Develop innovative user interfaces and interactive models using next generation web technologies to support user productivity and operational efficiency
  • Research and deeply understand problems to identify what is truly important

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a UI/UX role
  • Strong working knowledge of Figma and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of design and development best practices
  • Working knowledge of industry tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch, Zeplin, Adobe XD, and InVision
  • Excellent ability to manage timelines and work self-directed
  • Experience using UX research methods to support UI/UX decisions
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and collecting and analyzing user interactions
