CaseGuard Studio is hiring a UI/UX Designer in Arlington, VA (hybrid) to take design work from discovery to engineering hand-off.

Own the design process end-to-end, from research through conceptual design, UX design, testing, and prototyping
Lead visual design through the full lifecycle, ending with a final hand-off to engineering
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design direction
Work with client needs using customer research, feedback collection, and market analysis
Facilitate design sessions, present design solutions, and iterate based on input
Craft, pitch, and validate long-term design strategies
Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
Define, promote, and apply design guidelines, best practices, and standards

Proven UX/UI experience
2+ years of visual design experience
2+ years of experience as a User Experience, User Interface Designer, Interaction Designer, or similar UI-related role
2+ years of experience creating prototypes or highly detailed wireframes for various applications
Strong online portfolio and/or work samples showing relevant experience
Proficiency with Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wireframing tools
Strong understanding of information architecture, interaction design, user-centered design processes, and user experience principles, techniques, and patterns
