Job Description

Join Adobe on the Document Cloud GenAI team in California, onsite, and help shape end-to-end experiences across Acrobat, Sign, and Scan for hundreds of millions of users. This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 189,400 to 274,300, with the opportunity to influence AI powered document solutions at scale. You will own the design process from rough concepts to polished interfaces, collaborate across product, engineering, and design partners, and mentor teammates while advancing generative AI initiatives in a fast evolving landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Design from sketches through end-to-end flows, interactive prototypes, and refined UI, adapting your approach to the problem at hand.
  • Simplify complex user needs into practical, human-centered solutions that balance business goals with user value.
  • Develop a clear point of view grounded in user research and data, championing user needs and thoughtful solutions.
  • Convey design rationale through compelling storytelling and confidently present to executives and key partners.
  • Foster positive relationships and collaborate closely with product, engineering, and design peers.
  • Invent future-facing, usable, useful, modern, and accessible solutions that delight users.
  • Maintain a high bar for design craft and mentor others to elevate the practice.
  • Partner across functions on generative AI initiatives to unlock new customer value and drive innovation.
  • Stay curious in the rapidly evolving AI and technology landscape, anticipating changing customer needs.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of proven product design experience.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong UX and visual design across responsive, multi-surface experiences.
  • Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools, including Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and deep expertise in core UX principles and methodologies.
  • Empathy for customers and teammates, with a process grounded in listening and understanding.
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability to move work forward in ambiguous environments.
  • Adaptability to design with current and new technologies and evolving user experience patterns.
  • A proven track record of leading complex, ambiguous projects from concept to execution.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, using listening and empathy to drive alignment and progress.
  • Commitment to inclusive, accessible, and respectful design practices.
  • Technologies used include Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Nice to have

Preferred accessibility design skills

  • Experience designing accessible and inclusive interfaces for people with disabilities.
  • Understanding of applying WCAG conformance criteria in design, including testing comps, wireframes, and prototypes for accessibility standards.
  • IAAP certifications such as CPACC, WAS, CPWA, or ADS are preferred.
