Senior UI/UX Designer

10Pearls is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to work closely with clients and a global design team. This hybrid role supports product vision from discovery through delivery, combining user-centered design, design-system thinking, and hands-on mentoring to improve design outcomes.

Location and Work Mode

The position is based in Tysons, VA and operates in a hybrid format, with 4 days per week onsite at the Tysons Corner office.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops and client design sessions to understand vision, business goals, and product requirements.
• Plan and run user research and usability testing, then translate findings into a rationale for design-led improvements.
• Own design for engagements end to end, from brainstorming and whiteboarding to intuitive, high-fidelity designs that align with brand standards and support clean engineering handoff.
• Design for established and emerging AI capabilities and use AI as a delivery support partner to accelerate insight and delivery.
• Present work and keep client and internal executive sponsors informed using process flows, wireframes, prototypes, and functional specs.
• Mentor other designers and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Occasionally support the Global Marketing team with concepts and graphics for corporate design work.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of digital product (UX/UI) design experience, including at least 3 years in a consulting or agency environment.
• Strong cross-functional and cross-site collaboration across onshore, nearshore, and offshore teams, with empathy to align differing perspectives.
• Experience running discovery workshops and scoping UX/UI work with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Deep knowledge of human-centered and strategic design methods, with ideas and prototypes grounded in research, technical requirements, and business goals.
• Proven experience using brand guidelines, style guides, and design systems.
• Experience designing custom software for web, iOS, and Android, from mobile to enterprise applications, including recommendations for buy versus build with tradeoffs.
• Familiarity with established and emerging AI capabilities, including interaction patterns and using AI as a delivery support partner to accelerate insight and delivery.
• Strong communication skills for facilitating, writing, and presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Self-directed approach and a drive to make products simpler and better for users.
• Fluency in Figma and modern prototyping tools.
