Job Description
Join EY’s FSO Technology Consulting Product and Experience Design team as a Senior Product Designer, owning design end-to-end for a client workstream and building AI-first, agentic experiences in Agile teams.
Responsibilities
- Design lead for a workstream as a Senior Product Designer
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team including researchers, technologists, product managers, and engagement team members
- Own design end to end, from framing the problem with the client through writing specifications engineers can build from
- Serve as the day-to-day design partner for the client on the workstream
- Mentor junior designers
- Use AI to move faster across framing, options, prototypes, and synthesis
- Stay accountable for every decision that reaches the client
- Support business development outside engagements, including pursuits and proposals
- Contribute to practice-building via mentoring colleagues and developing or delivering training
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, UX Design, Interaction Design, Industrial or Product Design, or a related field, plus 3 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience
- Alternatively: accept a master’s degree with 2 years of work experience
- Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design, including problem framing, interaction design, visual craft, and outcomes
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including prototyping, components, and design system contribution
- Regular use of LLMs in the design process
- Comfort with AI-assisted design and prototyping tools such as Claude, Cursor, or Figma Make (even without writing production code by hand)
- Experience designing complex, data-heavy or workflow-driven products
- Experience delivering in Agile teams using Jira or an equivalent tool
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present and defend design decisions to senior client stakeholders
- Confidence to multitask in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Domestic and regional travel up to 80% to serve client needs

- Base salary range (by location):
- New York City, Boston, Washington DC Metro Areas, Washington State, and Southern California offices: $120,200 to $180,600
- Bay Area California offices: $125,300 to $188,100
- All other US offices including Sacramento: $100,200 to $165,400
- Total Rewards including medical and dental coverage, pension, and 401(k) plans, plus paid time off options
- Flexible vacation policy including designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence

Ideally You’ll Also Have
- Experience in financial services, including banking and capital markets, wealth and asset management, insurance, or real estate, as well as hospitality and construction
- Experience designing AI-powered or agentic product features that reach production
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) as they affect design decisions
- Experience coaching client teams or building design capability in another organization
