Senior Product Designer

Stable is building in an AI-forward, builder-led environment where product decisions move from discovery to delivery with real ownership. In this role, you will connect digital software design with physical operations, collaborating closely with engineering to shape end-to-end customer experiences.

What you’ll do

• Write product briefs, query live business data, and work increasingly close to the code.
• Own product work from discovery through delivery.
• Make impactful decisions on prioritization, tradeoffs, and scope in partnership with engineering and stakeholders.
• Use Stable’s custom internal MCP as a data analyst sidekick, including spinning up your own reports and dashboards, with support from the Data team when needed.
• Speak with and test directly with users to understand pain points and needs.
• Use a blend of intuition, data, and research to determine what to build, what to cut, and when to ship.
• Own and challenge business goals while empathizing with and advocating for customers.
• Create early concepts using tools like Figma, Make, Claude, or Cursor.
• Complete final polish and refinements in Figma or code, wherever it makes the most sense.
• Embed with a “pod” of three to four team members who drive a specific product initiative, collaborating to deliver value to customers and the business.
• Contribute to and evolve Stable’s design system by creating reusable patterns across the product.
• Use LLM code assistants to improve product quality and add delight to the customer experience.
• Design for seamless experiences across software interfaces and real-world operations, considering the full customer journey.
• Stay current on new tools and workflows, including AI, LLMs, and generative technology, and help improve how value is delivered through design.
• Make more room for the human side of design by automating repetitive work.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders across the company to keep teams aligned throughout the design process.

What you bring

• 6+ years of experience in product design at fast-moving companies.
• Product design generalist experience, comfortable moving between research, UI design, and systems thinking.
• Interest in emerging design tools and AI-assisted workflows, with an eye on where the industry is headed.
• Strong project management skills and a history of driving projects to completion.
• Strong design fundamentals, including hierarchy, layout, typography, and interaction design.
• Comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to break down complex problems into clear, iterative milestones.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Salary: USD 135,000 - 220,000 per year
