Senior Manager, Product Designer
Job Description
Wonder Group, Inc is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Designer for an operator-facing role focused on end-to-end product experiences. You will design across Wonder’s Infinite Kitchen Centers (IKCs) software portfolio, supporting kitchen, dispatch, and marketplace workflows.
Role Focus
This position centers on designing for real-world operational contexts, where speed, clarity, and reliability matter for users working on the kitchen floor. The work spans product operations as priorities evolve across the IKCs portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Pivot across the product ops portfolio as strategic priorities change over time.
- Own end-to-end user experience design that integrates user research, operator feedback, and performance data.
- Create high-fidelity designs, interactive prototypes, and complete design artifacts aligned to product requirements and supported for developer handoff.
- Run usability testing to validate designs and incorporate actionable feedback.
- Collaborate with product managers, analysts, engineers, and operational stakeholders to design features that support top-line growth and improve key operational metrics.
- Partner with Product Managers to optimize operations-focused applications for speed and accuracy on the floor.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing operational, high-stakes, or B2B/internal tools, ideally connected to physical-world environments such as logistics, retail ops, field service, restaurants, or warehousing.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic, and sometimes scrappy environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain design decisions clearly and concisely.
- Solid visual and typographic sensibility, with the ability to address complex user flows and propose efficient solutions.
- Proficiency in Figma and other supporting interaction design tools.
- Experience designing for constrained environments, including shared devices, gloved hands, poor lighting, noisy kitchens, and users with limited tolerance for friction.
- A record of shipping production work, with substantial real-world surface area beyond concepting.
- Systems thinking to maintain consistency across multiple products and identify where inconsistencies slow users down.
- Collaboration instincts with engineering and product, accounting for constraints such as hardware, network reliability, and staff turnover.
- A portfolio is required, demonstrating your design process and work spanning a range of fidelity levels from start to finish.
