Senior Digital Designer (Web & UX)

Interactive Strategies is hiring a Senior Digital Designer (Web & UX) to lead web and UX work rooted in discovery, research, and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Shape how causes engage their audiences through hands-on web and UX design
• Gather insights and translate them into meaningful creative solutions
• Help clients refresh or reimagine their brands with concept-driven, strategically grounded design and UX deliverables
• Lead on a seasoned team, mentoring, inspiring, and collaborating with others
• Contribute to high-profile and challenging engagements
• Present designs clearly to clients and confidently stand behind your ideas
• Develop holistic creative solutions in collaboration with writers and strategists

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in UX and web design, with the ability to ramp quickly
• Maintain an up-to-date portfolio website with a large collection of inspiring work samples
• Ability to design in a variety of styles while delivering unique yet functional solutions to common website challenges
• Experience developing logos and visual brand systems
• Comfort building nuanced creative narratives and pitching work to executive teams
• Collaborative experience working with writers and strategists to create holistic creative solutions
• Experience managing and mentoring more junior designers
• Additional strengths are welcome: illustration, typography, motion design, or front-end coding

Compensation

• Annual compensation: USD 90,000 - 125,000
