Product Designer

TypeSafe AI is seeking a Product Designer to improve the end-to-end experience for developers and enterprises as they discover, adopt, and build with TypeSafe. This role covers design workflows across the marketing website and developer console, from the first introduction through the first API call and production adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Design enterprise-facing capabilities within the developer console, supporting adoption and operations at scale through clear workflows for workspaces, team administration, permissions, usage, and billing.
• Create understandable technical workflows by designing intuitive experiences across onboarding, the playground, and tools used for building, testing, and operating with TypeSafe models.
• Develop and maintain a coherent design system by building reusable components, patterns, and visual foundations across both the website and console, with attention to accessibility and consistency.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and go-to-market teams to take work from discovery through launch, including shipping UI changes in production.
• Own the design workflow journey across the marketing website and developer console, spanning first introduction to TypeSafe, first API call, and team adoption in production.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a UX designer.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong visual and interaction design across web experiences and complex SaaS products.
• Experience designing developer tools, including IDE plugins, observability systems, and data tools.
• Strong creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to reason from first principles when designing for complex technical systems.
• Familiarity and interest in LLMs and AI tooling, including the habit of prototyping (“vibe code”), leveraging gen AI products, and trying new AI tools.
• Comfort reading code, debugging, and working closely with engineers.

USD 200,000 - 271,000 per year
