Product Designer

NinjaOne is looking for a Product Designer to help shape new features and improvements across its PSA and Service Desk products. This remote role focuses on guiding design from discovery through delivery while partnering with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to support a cohesive customer experience.

What you’ll do

• Design new software features and enhancements aligned with the business’s top priorities.
• Own design work from discovery through delivery, partnering closely with Product Managers and Engineering.
• Turn ambiguous problems into clear user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Conduct and synthesize user research using methods such as interviews, usability testing, and feedback sessions.
• Collaborate with other designers to improve overall design quality and maintain consistency across the product.
• Contribute to and help maintain the Design System as it grows.
• Balance speed and craft, with judgment on when to ship quickly and when detail work needs extra attention.
• Perform other duties as needed.

What you bring

• 4+ years of experience designing user interfaces and experiences for a SaaS company.
• Experience in IT Operations, Systems Administration, Software Support, or Software Development.
• Comfort collaborating directly with Product Managers and Engineers in an agile environment.
• Knowledge of visual design principles and information architecture to build intuitive user interfaces.
• Experience using Figma for design and prototyping.
• Experience creating, contributing to, and maintaining design systems.
• Experience working with product management and engineering teams to deliver features to market.
• A portfolio that shows both strong UX process and polished visual execution.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote team, with strong async communication habits.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Graphic/Software Design, or Fine Art is preferred but not required.

Location

• Remote (work from home) within the USA for candidates residing in: CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, MA, MD, ME, NJ, NC, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, OH, and WA.
• Physical offices in Austin, TX and Tampa, FL for candidates who prefer a hybrid option.
• Not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
• Due to operational policies, this role cannot be hired within the city limits of Chicago. Candidates residing outside the city proper or willing to self-relocate will be considered.

Compensation and benefits

• Salary range: USD 90,000 - 130,000 per year.
• Benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, and PTO.

Starting pay depends on factors including location, market demands, experience, job-related knowledge, and skills. For roles based in California, Colorado, Maryland, New Jersey, or Washington, and for roles based in New York, the base salary hiring range is $90,000 to $130,000 per year.
