Product Designer
Job Description
Rubrik Security Cloud is building the next generation of user experiences for enterprise cyber resilience, including AI and backup/ransomware protection. Based in Palo Alto, CA, this onsite Product Designer role helps shape design that supports real-world, high-stakes outcomes. You will lead design across the product lifecycle, collaborate closely with product managers and engineers, and help evolve the team’s design language and design system.
What you’ll do
- Lead and strengthen the design process by exploring big ideas and taking smart risks, then refining toward feasible, high-quality solutions with strong attention to detail
- Create design deliverables across the lifecycle, including storyboards, wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and pixel-perfect visual assets
- Partner end-to-end with designers, product managers, and engineers, from flow and wireframe development to UI mockups and prototypes
- Share and request feedback with other designers to continually raise the bar on quality
- Build customer relationships to ensure UX reflects user needs
- Help evolve the design language and design system that supports it
- Work alongside design system UI engineers to support precise implementation
- Contribute to defining what consumer-grade design looks like in the enterprise space
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Design (Visual Communication, Interactive, etc.); Master’s degree preferred
- An outstanding portfolio demonstrating interaction and visual design foundations, plus idea generation
- Team player who can roll up their sleeves and collaborate cross-functionally
- Solid presentation skills and the ability to keep an audience engaged
- A commitment to doing things the right way with consistency across the product
- Proactive drive to find and drive toward better solutions
- Strong listening skills and an orientation toward understanding over being right
- Enjoyment of solving complex design problems

- US pay range: $118,800 to $178,200 per year
