Product Designer
Job Description
Rightclick is hiring a Product Designer to help shape cohesive product experiences across web and mobile. In this hybrid role based in New York, NY, you’ll own and evolve the team’s design system while creating intuitive, user-centered interfaces that work well across devices. The position is supported by a modern toolset, with Figma at the core of your workflow.
You’ll have the opportunity to influence both execution and standards: building reusable UI foundations, improving governance and documentation for the design system, and promoting accessibility, usability, and responsive design best practices. The role also emphasizes close collaboration with engineering to maintain design fidelity through implementation, so your work translates cleanly into the product.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive, user-centered experiences across web and mobile products
- Own and evolve the design system, including components, patterns, tokens, documentation, and governance
- Create high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, user flows, and interaction specifications in Figma
- Collaborate with engineering to help ensure design fidelity during implementation
- Build and maintain reusable UI components using modern front-end technologies
- Define and promote accessibility, usability, and responsive design best practices
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or a similar role
- Bachelor’s Degree from an Art School (required)
- A design portfolio is required; candidates without one will not be considered
- Experience designing and maintaining enterprise-scale design systems
- Expert proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, variables, auto layout, and prototyping
- Strong understanding of interaction design, visual design, typography, and information architecture
Location: New York, NY (hybrid). Compensation: USD 60 per hour. Minimum experience: 5 years.
