Product Designer

Paramount is looking for a Product Designer to craft pixel-precise, on-brand interactive experiences that help users engage with the product. This onsite role in New York, NY pairs strong UX and visual design with practical usability knowledge, with collaboration across product, engineering, and cross-functional partners. You will also leverage AI to expand exploration and accelerate execution and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Create pixel-precise designs that align with brand, built from product requirements and partner input and feedback.
• Research the competitive landscape, develop user flows, and design solutions that account for evolving functionality, technological innovation, and impacts on product and company revenue.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, and other cross-functional partners to deliver compelling solutions across areas like discovery and engagement.
• Advocate for visual and functional consistency while identifying strategic opportunities to evolve systems and interactions.
• Use AI to broaden exploratory space and support faster concepting, execution, and delivery.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of product design experience.
• Strong UX and visual design sense, with an eye for simple, intuitive interfaces.
• Ability to adapt quickly to fast-moving timelines and variable project requirements.
• Capacity to work individually with a strong sense of ownership.
• Ability to proactively gather consensus across internal partners and adjust tasks quickly as priorities and urgent deadlines shift.
• Experience partnering with designers, product managers, and engineering organizations to deliver design across the full product lifecycle, including multiple launches.
• Ability to rapidly concept, ideate, and execute multiple concepts.
• A strong portfolio showing deep understanding of functionality and modern visual design sensibility.
• Curiosity and comfort experimenting with evolving AI tools and workflows, including AI-assisted prototyping and vibe-coding tools.
• Experience in an agile product development environment, working closely with product owners, developers, and QA as part of a delivery team.
