Product Designer
Job Description
North American Bancard is seeking a Product User Experience Designer for Hospitality to help shape digital products and applications across North Hospitality platforms. This remote role partners closely with Product and Development teams, combining research, prototyping, and UX craftsmanship to support clear product direction and high-quality user experiences.
What you’ll do
- Design digital products using detailed mockups and documentation grounded in user experience best practices and business requirements.
- Create user experience patterns and design languages based on insight into human behavior and established digital standards.
- Lead product discussions with Product Owners to define feature sets and translate user needs into high-level requirements.
- Conduct user research and compile competitive market analysis; build customer-focused personas and inform product workflows.
- Serve as a primary liaison between Engineering Team Leads and developers, collaborating to build refined products and address usability questions.
- Support quality by acting as an approval layer during QA design and user experience reviews.
- Produce polished, interactive prototypes and present them to senior leadership.
- Contribute to UX copy, including user-centric messaging and related content decisions.
- Review final assets and design systems from UI Designers, providing feedback that emphasizes product and brand consistency.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a Master’s degree.
- At least 2 years of experience in a related UX Designer role or a Software Engineer role.
- Leadership ability and comfort owning large-scale projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated work style, with experience collaborating with developers, designers, and product managers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment.
- Experience with responsive web design concepts and constraints, plus iOS and Android mobile design.
- Understanding of iterative development methods, including SCRUM and Agile.
- Expert knowledge of digital design principles, with attention to emerging trends in web and mobile design.
- Experience designing complete mobile and web products from concept through development completion.
- Innovation, creativity, and strong design and analysis skills.
- Required tools: Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator.
- Preferred: proficiency in Jira, Principle, and After Effects.

Compensation
$75,000 - $98,500 per year (USD).
