Principal Product Designer, Document Cloud Enterprise
Job Description
Adobe is hiring a Principal Product Designer (Document Cloud Enterprise) to shape generative AI-powered document workflows for enterprise teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of expert-level concepts for future enterprise document workflows using generative AI
- Develop and drive long-term design strategies aligned to user needs and business objectives
- Visualize work through sketches, storyboards, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes
- Actively research and develop new approaches using AI development tools including Cursor, Replit, and Claude Code
- Use customer feedback, research, and data to uncover insights and guide decisions
- Deliver experiences with genuine empathy across roles, from IT administrators to power users to first-time adopters
- Maintain inclusive, accessible, and respectful development practices
- Invest in relationships with partners, collaborators, and users as a core part of the process
- Facilitate design sprints and collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and creators
- Listen and observe to build perspective, turning insights into actionable direction
- Present and develop communication strategies and concepts for senior executives and partners
- Mentor and help foster an inclusive environment that enables designers to innovate
- Co-define roadmaps and go-to-market strategy with Document Cloud PMs and PMMs, ensuring design influences product direction from inception
- Translate Adobe’s broader AI strategy into distinct document experiences for enterprise personas in legal, finance, HR, and operations
Requirements
- Proven background developing solutions for enterprise software products
- Related degree or 8+ years of equivalent experience in product development
- Demonstrated UX and visual build excellence creating, evangelizing, and shipping strategic initiatives
- Ability to build at the ecosystem level
- Customer-centric build process
- Curiosity about AI-powered tools for building and development
- Experience partnering closely with product management, engineering, and research
- Confidence presenting across organizational levels, plus strong storytelling for C-suite presentations
- Proficiency with Figma and modern prototyping tools
- Deep experience with generative AI-first experiences, including LLM-based features, copilots, or agentic flows
- Ideally includes document-related tooling and/or experience at a SaaS AI native startup
- Experience developing solutions for user acquisition, onboarding, or adoption in enterprise settings
- Prior experience in creative agencies or enterprise teams using lean startup methodologies
- Experience uniting disparate experiences into a cohesive, high-quality user journey
- Experience designing accessible and inclusive interfaces for people with disabilities
- Familiarity with WCAG standards and testing for accessibility compliance

Location and Expected Pay Range
- Location: Pennsylvania (onsite)
- Expected pay range: USD 175,600 to 334,500 per year
- Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
